SALT SLAG PROCESSING NaCl and KCl are crystallized from solutions having them as major components under utilization of tubular heat exchangers and evaporation processes by providing evaporation crystallization in one or several stages, completely and exclusively at temperatures of the solution remaining consistently in excess of 90 degrees C, preferably above 100 degrees C.
