PURPOSE:To protect an ATC signal against disturbance from a power supply for driving a train. CONSTITUTION:Two sets of ATC transmitters 6, 7 installed on the ground transmit identical signal information on carriers of different frequencies f1, f2 to a train. The signal information is received by two sets of on-board ATC receivers 9, 10 which produce signal information based on the logical sum of the signal information. The carrier frequencies f1, f2 are selected in predetermined relationship with maximum and minimum frequencies fmax, fmin generated from an on-board VVVF controller 15 such that even if the signal information transmitted on one carrier of frequency f1 is subjected to disturbance by higher harmonics generated from the VVVF controller 15, the signal information transmitted on the carrier of frequency f2 is not subjected to the higher harmonics generated from the VVVF controller 15. |
