<p>A dust collector (2) for collecting dust during drilling of a hole in a vertical surface (4), which dust collector (2) comprises a rear wall portion (6) which is flat for abutting against the vertical surface (4) during the drilling of the hole, an adhesive portion which is provided on the rear wall portion (6) and which is such as to enable the dust collector (2) to be adhered to the vertical surface (4) during the drilling of the hole and to be removed from the vertical surface (4) after the drilling of she hole without causing damage to the vertical surface (4), and positioning-aligning means (10) for aligning the dust collector (2) with respect to the hole to be drilled, the position-aligning means (10) being provided on the rear wall portion (6) at such a location that the drilling is effected through the position-aligning means (10) whereby the position-aligning means (10) is also able to act to guide and retain a drill bit (12) in position during the commencement of the drilling. <IMAGE></p> |
