<p>PURPOSE:To provide a flutter preventing device for a steering system constituted so as to early converge a flutter generated in the steering system. CONSTITUTION:A device has a detecting means (A3) for detecting axial force of a steering system (A2) of transmitting turn operating force of a steering wheel (A1) to front wheels of a vehicle and a memory means (A4) for storing the axial force of the steering system (A2), detected by at least the detecting means (A3), as a time series data. The device comprises a coupling degree study means (A5) for coupling each data stored in the memory means (A4) by a studied coupling degree, flutter generation estimating means (A6) for estimating a flutter based on a coupling value obtained by the coupling degree study means (A5) and a flutter converging means (A7) for converging a flutter in the steering means (A2) when generation of the flutter is estimated by the flutter generation estimating means (A6).</p> |
