PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition comprising polyphenylene sulfide resin, a specific modified elastomer, and glass fibers in a specific ratio, excellent in toughness, hot water resistance and dimensional stability, and useful for mechanical parts, etc. CONSTITUTION:This resin composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. of polyphenylene sulfide resin, (B) 1-50 pts.wt. of a modified elastomer produced by preliminarily reacting an epoxy compound with an olefinic copolymer having carboxyl groups or carboxylic acid derivative groups, and (C) 10-200 pts.wt. of glass fibers. |
