Folding work table with motorised scissors legs

The folding motorised work-table has one end of the legs (2, 7) pivoted near the edge of both the table (10) and the frame (1) whereas the other ends of the legs slide. The pivot incorporates a transverse torsion bar pre-tensioned so that they support the "opening up" movement. The maximum angle of twist of the torsion bars is greater than or equal to the maximum angle of the legs. The bars compensate for the weight of the table components. They are held in protective tubes attached rigidly to the legs but which can rotate with respect to the table and frame. One end of each bar is fixed to the table and the other to the frame.
