CALENDER-FINISHING METHOD

PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage and scattering of the surface resin layer of a calender roll in a high-speed calender finishing process to use a calender roll having a resin coating layer bonded to the surface of a core barrel. CONSTITUTION:The surface resin layer of the calender roll for this finishing process is produced by using a resin having a characteristic inflection temperature of the storage elastic modulus E' of higher than Tw+10 deg.C and lower than Tw+80 deg.C (Tw is working temperature of the resin) and Shore hardness of 75-97.
