The absorber has a flat or tubular configuration, using a poor heat conductive silicate material with a max. contact surface (1) between the absorber carrier material (2) and a fluid film (3). The mass of the fluid and absorber to be heated is very small relative to the incident solar radiation surface area. Pref. the absorber comprises a plate or mat of a foamed absorber material, a fibrous absorber material, or a powdered absorber material, which can be structured or profiled to obtain the max. absorber surface. The formation of the fluid film (3) is controlled by a microcomputer (10) which takes into account irradiation and operation conditions and consumption parameters. A collector (8) to store the heat conducting fluid packets is connected to a cascade storage tank (12) with an overflow system. ADVANTAGE - Increased absorber efficiency. |
