摘要 PURPOSE:To increase cutting speed by decreasing the cutting resistance at the cutting of reinforcing bar and remarkably prolong the lifetime of a cutter blade by a method wherein the blade of a rotary cutter is produced by electrodeposition and the cross-sectional form of the blade is trapezoid having its height, which is made larger than the maximum cross-sectional area of the reinforcing bar. CONSTITUTION:In a rotary cutter 10 for cutting inorganic architectural material, in which reinforcing bars are imbedded, the blade of the cutter 10 is an electrodeposited blade 11, the cross-sectional form of which is trapezoid having its height (c) made larger than the maximum cross-sectional area of the reinforcing bar. Further, when the rotary cutter cuts architectural material sheet, in which reinforcing bars are imbedded, by being rotated by the driving shaft of a rotatingly driving device, to which the shaft hole 13 of the rotary cutter is fixed, the cutting resistance at the cutting of the reinforcing bar is reduced, since each of the blades 11 of the rotary cutter 10 is produced by electrodepositing abrasive grains 12 made of diamond, CBN or the like and the cross-sectional form of each of the blades is trapezoid, resulting in allowing to cut the building material sheet without breaking the sheet. Furthermore, by providing slit in the blade 11, the delivery of powdered cuttings becomes easy and consequently cutting speed can be increased.
