PURPOSE:To enhance the detecting sensitivity for flashing light by applying phosphor on the surface of a lightguide member on the side of the inner-part of the tank, or mixing the phosphor into the lightguide member, and increasing the amount of light, which is cast into an optical fiber cable from the lightguide part. CONSTITUTION:Insulating gas is sealed into a tank for containing electric equipment. The tank 1 is partitioned into a plurality of blocks. A lightguide member 24 is provided so as to penerates the tank wall at each block. When a flashing accident has occurred in the inside of the tank 1, the flashing light is guided to the outside of the tank 1 through a lightguide member 24, and the faulty block is spotted. Phosphor 6 is applied on the surface of the lightguide member 24 on the side of the inside of the tank. One end of the lightguide 24 is provided so as to protrude to the inside from the inner wall surface of the tank. The phosphor is applied at least on the entire surface of the part of the lightguide member 24 protruding from the inner wall surface of the tank. |
