Rapid closing packaging - has bayonet locking device in container neck and cap with compressed annular sealing ring

A container (1) has a neck (3) containing an annular sealing nozzle and a cap (2). The parts of the neck and the cap which close the container have a bayonet locking device formed by a projecting lug (8) on one part fitting in a hollowed passage (16) of slightly larger width than the lug. The hollowed part has an inlet parallel to the cap axis and is extended by a curved return with a blind end. The cap has an internal axial shoulder (5) on which is sealed a flexible annular ring compressed on the projecting nozzle and immobilises the lug in a predetermined angular position. USE/ADVANTAGE - Rapid-closing container which prevents loss of sealing in event of untimely decompression of sealing ring.
