ANTITHROMBIN III PREPARATION

PURPOSE:To obtain a freeze-dried powdery preparation of antithrombin III having excellent water solubility and maintaining activity thereof. CONSTITUTION:This antithrombin III preparation comprises freeze-dried powder of antithrombin III and a polyoxyethylene glycol sorbitan alkyl ester. In an antithrombin III kit comprising a container charged with this freeze-dried powder of antithrombin III and a solvent for the powder, the powder or the solvent or both are mixed with the polyoxyethylene glycol sorbitan alkyl ester.
