<p>PURPOSE:To provide a protective cover for tape cassette which can protect a tape pass opening of a compact cassette without fail and does not increase volume of the compact cassette so much as to be inconvenient for carrying. CONSTITUTION:In a tape cassette in which an opening into which a hub driving shaft is inserted is formed in a cassette half 1 at a position corresponding to a hub hole 2a, a base end of a rubber string 18 is fixed to one side plate 13 of a U-shaped cover body 15 which covers the tape pass opening 5 and a trapezoid-shaped expansion 6 of the cassette half 1, and a tip end of the rubber string 18 is inserted into the hub hole 2a through the opening 4 of the cassette half 1 and supported by a support pin 20 provided on the other side plate 14 of the cover body 15.</p> |
