The hinge component (5) is formed with extensions (13) which project in the engagement areas (6) of the retainers (3,4) and are so arranged and dimensioned that they prevent the release of the connection between the retainers (3,4) and the hinge (5). The distance between the connected parts (1,2) is variable within predetermined limits, in that at least one hinge (5) is pushed under at least one retainer (3,4). The retainers (3,4) are integral components of the connected parts (1,2) and have a fixture area (8,9) which serves for fixture of the parts (1,2). The retainers (3,4) are U-shaped and the arms of the U-profile form the fixture area (8,9). USE/ADVANTAGE - Hinge connection can selectively permit very large mobility of connected parts.
