Electronic system for detecting the inclination or acceleration of an object as an ameliorated alternative to systems tending to be expensive (e.g. mercury wetted contact) and/or unreliable (e.g. ball contact that works on a conductive contact). A sensor is presented here which is both cheap and very reliable: The forces involved (such as gravity and acceleration force) will be able to move a ball which rolls in a hole of a printed circuit board or any other construction. The position of that ball (which is conductive) will influence the value of the capacitors between the copper lines at the edges of the printed circuit board. The sensing of these capacitors, as well as the interpretation of these results will/can be done by circuitry completely integrated on a chip.

|
