发明名称 OPTICAL SYSTEM HAVING SIGHT LINE DETECTING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To detect a line of sight with high accuracy even if an observing state of a photographer is varied by finding out the line of sight by functions of brightness in the periphery of an eye-ball and sight line correction data, at the time of detecting a line of sight of an observer from a rotation angle of an optical axis of the eye-ball. CONSTITUTION:From a distance between an eye-ball 15 of a photographer and an ocular lens 11 of a camera, image forming magnification beta of an eye-ball image projected to a CCD-EYE is calculated, and from this calculation value, rotation angles thetaX, thetaY are found out. Subsequently, a position (x, y) of a line of sight on a focus plate 7 is derived by expressions I, II. In this regard, bx and by corresponding to the correction quantity of an optical axis and a visual line of the eye-ball in the horizontal X direction and the vertical Y direction are shown by expressions III, IV, and are functions of brightness Lp in the periphery of the eye-ball of the photographer. Also, a proportional coefficient Ky takes a value of '0', when Lp is above prescribed brightness Lx, and becomes a relation of the rotation angle thetaX, when it is below Lx. In this regard, in the expressions I-IV, (ax), (box), (boy), and (ky) denote calibration data.
