摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain optical elements which can inhibit the top force adhesion and the deviation from the center and can readily judge the front and back, by placing a glass material between the top force having patterned surface to be transferred and the bottom force and pressing the material after heating it up to the molding temperature where the glass material is held on a prescribed position with a connector and then effecting press-molding. CONSTITUTION:When a bottom force having intaglio molding face 18 and a spherical glass material 40 are used, the material spontaneously comes to the center of the bottom force by their centripetalism, but in the other cases, the positioning is required for the glass materials. A stationary positioning part 50 is allowed to oppose to the outer periphery molding part 28. The glass material 40 held with the sucking finger from the opening of the trunk mold 14 is placed on the bottom force 18. The top end 28d of the outer periphery molding part 28 comes into contact with the side of the glass material 18 and the compression force by the compression panel 32 act on the glass material 40. The glass material 40 comes into contact with the positioning face 50 of the stationary positioning unit 50 whereby the material is positioned.
