PURPOSE:To suppress the ripple of the number of revolution by temperature change without providing an ultrasonic motor with a temperature detector. CONSTITUTION:This controller is equipped with a detection means 3, which detects the capacitance of the piezoelectric substance 1a of an ultrasonic motor 1, a control means 4, which sets the frequency and the voltage of a drive signal based on the resonance frequency detected with this detection means 3, and a drive means 2, which applies the drive signal to the ultrasonic motor 1 so as to drive it. |
