PURPOSE:To easily sense a change in a sound image position by delaying an acoustic signal in order to simulate a reflected sound from a floor and adding the delayed signal to a signal to which a sound image positioning is applied in a positioning device for converting an acoustic signal into a signal including a sound image fixed position and outputting the converted signal as a signal for plural channels. CONSTITUTION:Reflection from a floor is simulated by a signal delay means 14 and a filter means 15, and the simulated signal is added to signals SL, SR for two left and right channels outputted from a sound image fixed position applying means 13 by means of adders 16, 17. Thus a tone change due to a change in the position of a sound image is simulated and a listener can easily sense the changes of sound image positions in the far and near directions only by adding a simple constitution as compared with a convensional device. Since the means 14, 15 can be arranged in common to the right and left signals or differently arranged and floor materials do not exert much influence upon the sound image fixed position, the means 15 can be omitted. |
