PURPOSE:To provide an optical system driving controller capable of always giving the optimum braking force without being influenced by motor characteristics, etc., by controlling a reverse braking time and preparing for the following operation by a simple constitution. CONSTITUTION:The optical system driving controller controls a DC motor 40 for an optical system moving back and forth to be driven and provided with a braking mode 51 provided with a regenerative brake and a reverse brake, a switching timing detection sensor 70 for detecting the timing of switching the braking mode 51, a pair of timing sensors 80 and 81 for setting the reverse position of the optical system and a reverse braking time controlling means 53 for controlling the reverse braking time T of the DC motor 40 based on the signal from the pair of timing sensors 80 and 81 and preparing for the following operation. |
