<p>PURPOSE:To turn one part of a turning housing against a device main body without providing useless space in the device by aligning the turning center of one part of the housing with the rotating center of a carrying rotating body. CONSTITUTION:The rotary shaft of an upper roller 44a out of feeding rollers 44a and 44b feeding a recording material is coaxial with a rotary shaft 13. When an upper frame 1 is opened, it is opened against a lower frame 2 with the rotary shaft 13 as the rotating center. In such a case, a range where the frame 1 interferes with the component parts of the frame 2 is within the range of a minimum circle 14 drawn so as to come in contact with the component members on the frame 1 with the rotary shaft 13 as center. This range is expressed as a hatched part 70. By providing the rotary shaft for opening/closing the frames 1 and 2 coaxially with the upper roller 44a being the feeding roller, the space part necessary for turning the frame 1 is mostly in place in the arrangement space of the feeding roller, and the entire device is made compact.</p> |
