发明名称 ILLUMINATING DEVICE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY
摘要 PURPOSE:To even the luminance of the whole of the light outgoing surface of a light guide body by forming the film thickness of a reflecting film of the light guide body thicker as separated farther from a light source. CONSTITUTION:The whole of the inner surface of a lamp case 12 of an illuminating device 11 is formed with the reflecting surface 12a, and an opening 12b is formed on the top surface thereof. The top surface of a light guide body 13 is formed as a light outgoing surface 13a, and the almost thereof faces the opening 12b of the lamp case 12, and on the other hand, the continuous reflecting film 15 is formed in the nearly whole of the outer bottom surface of the light guide body 13 so that the film thickness thereof is formed thicker as separated farther from a bilateral pair of fluorescent lamps 14a, 14b. Consequently, the luminance of the light guide body 13 at parts close to the light sources 14a, 14b is relatively high, but since the film thickness of the reflecting film 15 at these parts is thin to restrict the luminance, and the luminance of the light guide body 13 at parts far from the light sources 14a, 14b is relatively low, but since the film thickness of the reflecting film 15 at these parts is thick to obtain the high luminance. Luminance of the whole of the light outgoing surface 13a of the light guide body 13 is thereby evened independently of the distance from the light sources 14a, 14b.
