PURPOSE:To make it possible to constitute the portable bankbook registering terminal printer concerned, which can exactly print the transaction contents in the respective register columns of a bankbook, by a method wherein printing is started after pulling the bankbook in to the desired printing starting line from the reference position, when the tip part of the bankbook is judged to be at the reference position. CONSTITUTION:Upon the pointing of printing starting, a stepping motor rotates by the predetermined amount in accordance with the memorized controlling program so as to transfer a clamper 28 together with a bankbook 151 to the direction of the depth of a printer and, after that, stops once so as to detect the presence and absence of the bankbook with a first sensor and confirm whether the bankbook is clamped under regular state. Next, when the bankbook 151 is judged to be clampe under regular state, the motor is rotated by the predetermined amount in accordance with the memorized controlling program so as to move the bankbook in order to coincide the line next to the printed line recorded in the magnetic stripes of the bankbook read in advance with the heating part 106 of a printing head 101. In this case, when there is no slip between a platen low 15 and the bankbook 151, the predetermined printing is carried out in accordance with the controlling program. |
