<p>PURPOSE:To provide an abnormality detecting function of driving control over an AC servomotor. CONSTITUTION:A control abnormality detecting method as the control method for the AC servo motor consists of a magnetic pole position detecting counter 5 which is initialized with absolute position data and inputs a position detection signal thereafter, a 0 deg. electric angle proximity deciding circuit 8 which inputs the output of the counter 5, and an AND circuit 9 which inputs the output of the circuit 8 and an origin position signal. Abnormality of the control function is detected by comparing the origin position of magnetic pole position data detected by the counter with the origin position detected with the origin position detection signal. Abnormality such as an open circuit of an encoder signal line, a noise and CPU malfunction, an encoder device fault, a failure in initializing the counter owing to malfunction of a serial input circuit, and miscounting of the counter due to the influence of a noise can be detected and this method is effective in securing reliability to the normal operation of a driving system.</p> |
