<p>PURPOSE:To provide the fishing rod reduced in the cracking of its surface caused by flexural loads, improved in the flexural strength and lightened by winding two kinds of specific prepregs in a specified state, the prepregs having different fiber-orientation directions and different resin contents, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The first prepreg 1 produced by impregnating a synthetic resin into a sheet in which high strength fibers 11 are paralleled in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the fishing rod is wound to form the innermost layer and the outermost layer of the fishing rod. The layers outside the innermost layer are formed from the second prepreg produced by impregnating a synthetic resin into a sheet in which high strength fibers are paralleled in the longitudinal direction of the fishing rod. The thickness of the innermost layer is thinner than that of each outside layer, and the resin content of the second prepreg is <=33wt.%. The resin content of the first prepreg is <=50wt.% and larger than that of the second prepreg.</p> |
