PURPOSE:To make a permanent magnet usable similar to an electromagnet by a method wherein the magnetic force is changed from strong to weak sides or cut off by sliding a knob. CONSTITUTION:When a knob 13 is slid downward along a sliding groove 17, a lever 11, cam 8 and a magnet 10 are inserted in between magnetic bodies 5, 18 as shown by a dotted line, touching the bodies, and iron pieces are magnetically attached to the magnetic conductors 5, 18 by the inserted magnet 10. When the knob 13 is slid upward so as to let the lever 11 elevate, the magnet 10 is also elevated losing a contact with the magnetic bodies, and the magnetism of each magnetic body. The operation of the knob 13 makes it possible to insert the magnet 10 in between the magnetic bodies to a slight or large degree, so that a weak or strong magnetic force works, respectively. Although it is a permanent magnet, its magnetic force can be changed from strong to weak sides or cut off. Thus it has various applications, for instance, for toys and educational equipment. |
