PURPOSE:To further increase the supply of components in a component supply device which is used for a component packaging machine which mounts components on a printed board. CONSTITUTION:This component supply device comprises a drive roller 3 capable of rotating alone the transfer direction of a component supply section 1, lever section 4 capable of directly operating by the drive roller 3, a power transmission section 5 which transmits the drive of the lever 4, a feeding section which feeds components by the drive from the transmission section 5 one after another and a shutter 11 capable of opening a covered portion of a specified component by the drive from the transmission section 5. This construction makes it possible to drive the lever 4 when the component supply section 1 is traveling. Further, its drive stroke is variable, responding to the housing pitch of the component, which makes it possible to increase the driving speed of a packaging device. |
