PURPOSE:To receive a deformed card of an IC card, and to extend an application of the IC card by superposing a connector by plural stages. CONSTITUTION:An IC card connector 3 formed by superposing connectors 3a, 3b of the same shape by two stages is mounted in the inside of a body of a note personal computer 1, and a port 2 for inserting an IC card in order to put it into the connector is opened on the side face of the body. In the IC card connector 3, a vertical boundary (c) exists in the vicinity of a fitting part in order to prevent an erroneous insertion, but no boundary exists in the vicinity of the inserting port. Also, a frame-like guide B for guiding the IC card is provided. At the time of using the IC card, the IC card is inserted into the inside of the note personal computer from the inserting port 2, and fitted along the guide B of the connector 3 in the end. Even if the upper and the lower parts of the card are inserted erroneously, as for the two-stage IC card connector 3, the connectors of the same shape are constituted back to back, therefore, the card can be inserted into one of the connectors. |
