PURPOSE:To provide a picture signal processor converting a picture signal corresponding to the arbitrary picture to a mirror image picture signal corresponding to the mirror image reflecting the relevant picture on the mirror with simple and low-cost construction. CONSTITUTION:For example, as for a color difference signal a sequential signal for which first and second component signals appear alternately at every period is formed by a 1/2 frequency divider 105 by using a first component signal R-Y and a second component signal B-Y in the picture signal to be inputted. The formed sequential signal is outputted after being converted to a mirror image picture signal corresponding to the mirror image reflecting the picture indicated by the sequential signal on the mirror by a mirror image conversion circuit 102. Thus, the conversion circuit requiring three systems in a conventional circuit is sufficient with two systems. |
