<p>Raman effect laser, comprising: - a pump laser (1) formed by a first resonant cavity (2) including an amplifying optical medium (6) emitting a first frequency passing through an optical trigger (5); - a second resonant cavity (14) tuned to a second frequency and containing a Raman effect medium (10) receiving the first frequency and delivering, by Raman effect, this second optical frequency, as well as a third optical frequency, obtained by Brillouin effect, characterised: - in that the said optical trigger (5) can take out of phase, in a variable manner, the polarisation of the radiation with the first frequency, - and in that the first resonant cavity (2) includes a first polarising plate (9) allowing through a part of the radiation with the first frequency, and which couples, for another part of this radiation, the first cavity (2) to the second cavity (14) and which couples in the opposite direction for the third frequency. - Application to Raman effect lasers. <IMAGE></p> |
