PURPOSE:To achieve simultaneously an increased thermal efficiency of a composite electric power plant comprising gasification and a reduction of sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides in the combustion exhaust gas of a gas turbine by removing simultaneously under high temperature trace gas components such as H2S, NH3, etc., contained in the combustion gas formed in a gasification device. CONSTITUTION:After the sensible heat of a fuel gas that is formed by partial oxidation of a carbon containing fuel 2 by means of an oxygen containing gas 3 in a gasification device 1 is recovered by a heat exchanger 4, the char, dusts in the combustion gas are removed by a dust collector 5. After this in a gas separator 6 that employs dry physical adsorption method (for example, pressure swing adsorption method) trace gas components such as H2S, NH3, etc., are removed simultaneously. The gas that contains the trace gas components of those separated and removed H2S, NH3, etc., in high concentration goes through the denitrification and desulfurization treatment by a gasification device 7, and after this those gases are discharged from a chimney 13 to the atmosphere. |
