PURPOSE:To provide a lighting equipment where a lifetime of illumination of an auxiliary lighting unit can be prolonged in the same manner of illumination of a main lighting unit. CONSTITUTION:An inverter circuit 41 controls electric power to fluorescent lamps FL1, FL2 according to an inverter circuit control unit 43 which is fed back, thus carrying out all light lighting or light adjustment lighting of the fluorescent lamps FL1, FL2. In the case where only an all-night lamp IL is lit, it is lit at a low voltage not through the inverter circuit 41 but through a step-down transformer 42. Consequently, the all-night lamp IL can be lit at reduced electric power consumption, and moreover, a lifetime of the lamp IL can be prolonged. |
