PURPOSE:To improve a processing speed by setting up decision points on odd- numbered outline coordinates or its preceding coordinates and even numbered outline coordinates or its succeeding coordinates, setting up an image element between both the decision points and clearing and painting out an unnecessary decision point. CONSTITUTION:A decision point setting means sets up a decision point on the odd numbered outline coordinates or its preceding coordinates in a scanning point and also sets up a decision point on the even numbered outline coordinates or its succeeding coordinates. A painting out means scans a space between the set decision points, starts the setting of an image element at the odd numbered-th decision point or its succeeding coordinates and ends the setting of the picture element at the even umbered decision point or its preceding coordinates. In this case, the unnecessary decision point is cleared. Although outline coordinate information is previously required, the original pattern information is restored by the painting-out processing after setting up the decision points, so that the processing speed can be improved. |
