PURPOSE:To give a driver more satisfaction in the normal driving condition by providing a program memory means for storing a set program in which a control gain is set in advance and a learning program obtained at least by learning operation of the driver. CONSTITUTION:In a learning control car provided with a driving characteristics control means which can control driving characteristics of a car with a predetermined gain and a main computer unit 50 which can change the control gain of the driving characteristics control means by learning driving condition of the car, ROM 51 and RAM 52 are provided which stores a set program and a learning program. Next, in the driving condition where driving stability should be regarded as important, the main computer unit 50 stops control by the learning program and controls the driving characteristics control means by the set program. By this mechanism, in the driving condition where driving stability is important, the set program which regards driving stability as important is used so as to improve driving stability.
