<p>PURPOSE:To enable a user to naturally put the electronic equipment in a resuming state restore state without being aware of the function of resuming by automatically putting the electronic equipment in the resuming state by the closure of a lid part at the time of the interruption of use. CONSTITUTION:The electronic equipment is equipped with a means which detects the closure state of the lid part 11 when the use of the electronic equipment is quitted, a means which holds the current operation state of an electronic circuit including the contents of a memory(RAM) 2 in respect of closure information on the lid part 11, and a means which restores the last operation state when the lid part 11 is opened again. Namely, when the user quits using a portable computer 1, the lid part 11, a keyboard, etc., are stored, which is utilized to detect the storage state and judge that the use is quitted, thereby putting the electronic equipment in the resuming state. Consequently, the user only opens and closes the lid part 11 without paying attention to the resuming to naturally put the electronic equipment in the resuming state and restore the state.</p> |
