PURPOSE:To reduce the deflecting abrasion of the inner side while preventing from wandering by making the width of the outermost groove of auxiliary grooves formed on the shoulder rib or the block of a tire tread the widest, and narrower to the inner side in order. CONSTITUTION:A shoulder rib 3 partitioned by the main groove 2 of the tread 1 of a tire is divided into small ribs 8, 9, 10, and 11 by auxiliary grooves 5, 6, and 7. In this case, the groove width of the outermost auxiliary groove 5 is made the widest, and the widths b and c of the auxiliary grooves 6 and 7 are made as a>b>=c. Consequently, the rigidity of the shoulder rib 3 is high at the inner side than at the outer side, and a deflecting abrasion can be reduced. |
