PURPOSE:To provide a facsimile device capable of preventing the damage of a second case and an opening/closing member. CONSTITUTION:In a case opening/closing mechanism 31 in a facsimile device provided with first and second cases which can be opened/closed with each other with a first supporting member used as a supporting point, an opening/closing member 20 which is housed in a first case 16 and can be rotated to the side of a second case 17 centering around a second supporting member 19 set apart from a first supporting member 18 only when the second case 17 is opened and a regulating member 22 which is provided with engagement parts engaging with the first case and the second case, respectively, and can be rotated centering about the engagement parts and regulates the degree of opening the second case 17a pressing member 35 pressing the opening/closing member 20 before the second cafe 17 presses the opening/closing member 20 rotated to the side of the second case side 17 presses the opening/closing member 20 when the opening second case 17 is stopped at the side of the first case 16, is provided at the regulating member 22 or the second case 17 on their side of opening/closing member 20, and thus, the opening/closing member 20 is rotated to the side of the first case 16 by the pressing of the pressing member 35 and housed in the first case 16. |
