The flow pump, particularly an oil pump for an i.c. engine, with at least three, one static, bearing hubs for a shaft, has a recess on the hub side and carries a drivewheel in the form of a gear or chainwheel. The pump impellers (14, 15) are located partly in the recess (9) of the drivewheel (3), and partly on the hub (5). The hub and a support (8) form part of the pump housing. ADVANTAGE - Pump design independent of whether driven from crankshaft, gear or chainwheel and thus axially compact.
