The pre-cast steel and concrete sections are for a roof truss. They form the roof rafter (2) and post (3), of the truss. They are produced in a formwork assembled either on site or in a factory and transported to the site. The tension members of the truss are made of steel and are connected on site. USE/ADVANTAGE - The roof truss for a building is pre-mfd. at set pitches with lower material and mfg. cost than with conventional methods.
