PURPOSE:To obtain the subject room temperature curing composition capable of forming a cured product having a high strength and high elongation by blending an alkoxy-blocked diorganopolysiloxane base polymer with two kinds of silane compounds having different hydrolytic properties. CONSTITUTION:A room temperature curing and dealcoholized type organopolysiloxane composition is obtained by homogeneously mixing (A) 100 pts.wt. diorganopolysiloxane having both molecular chain terminals blocked with alkoxy groups with (B) 1-25 pts.wt. alkoxysilane expressed by formula I [R<1> and R<2> are substituted or unsubstituted monofunctional hydrocarbon group; (n) is 3 or 4] or its partial hydrolyzate, (C) 0.01-10 pts.-wt. curing catalyst selected from titanic acid esters and titanium complex compounds and (D) 5-500 pts.wt. siliceous filler in a dry atmosphere, then adding (E) 1-25 pts.wt. alkoxysilane, expressed by formula II [(m) is an integer of 1-4] and having lower hydrolytic properties than those of the component (B) or its partial hydrolyzate and homogeneously mixing the components in a dry atmosphere. A cured product is provided by curing the aforementioned composition. |
