It also has at least two mountings to hold dressing tools and move them into operating positions. The tool holders are fixed on guide rods which are moved on slide bearings for axial adjustment by separate drives. ADVANTAGE - The layout has a simple drive system. It enables the dressing tools to be applied very rapidly.
