PURPOSE:To improve privacy performance by controlling the telephone set so as to select the voice conversion mode at all times when the talking between a master set and a slave set is finished and the talking is again implemented. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 9 controlling the entire master set closes a switch contact in a network circuit 6 based on a control signal from slave sets 2A, 2B included in a reception signal from a reception circuit 3 to connect a telephone line L to the circuit 6 and generates a dial signal based on a dial number signal from slave sets 2A, 2B and to make dialing. Then a changeover circuit 8 is controlled to select either the non-conversion mode or the voice conversion mode. When the transfer processing is implemented from one slave set 2A to the other slave set 2B, the master set 1 and the other slave set 2B are controlled to select the voice conversion mode at all times. Thus, even when the non-conversion mode is selected and the talking is terminated, the voice conversion mode is set for the 2nd talking without operation of a command means.
