PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent electromagnetic shield in a gap between a periphery of a rear cover and a board by elastically bringing a pectinated contact piece of an elastic contact member provided on the periphery of the rear cover into contact with a ground pattern of a printed board at the time of mounting the rear cover to be engaged. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of metal elastic contact members 20 having many pectinated contact pieces 19 on an inner periphery of a rear cover 4 are secured by spot welding. The pieces 19 of the members 20 are bent to be formed in a crest shape. When the cover 4 is mounted on a board 3, vertexes 19a of the crests are elastically brought into contact with a ground pattern 22 at a rear side of the board 3 in a predetermined range to be engaged. A pitch of the pieces 19, i.e., a gap of the pieces 19 is set to a predetermined size to be obtained experimentally or theoretically so as to suppress a radio wave to be radiated from an electronic component to be shielded in a case 1 to a level which causes no problem in practice. |
