<p>PURPOSE:To very easily restrain the bubbling of absorbing solution to solve various inconveniences resulting from bubbling and to make safety operation possible by floating buoyant bodies on all or part of the surface of the absorbing solution in a circulating tank. CONSTITUTION:Flue gas to be treated is introduced from a flue gas line 1 into an absorber 2 and comes into contact with absorbing solution circulated to the upper part of the absorber 2 from an absorbing solution circulating pump 3 in an absorption part 4. After SO2 is removed, the treated gas is discharged from a line 6 through a mist catcher 5. Under the absorption part 4, is installed a circulating tank 7 where rubber ball-shaped buoyant bodies 8 of about 30cm diameter float on the surface of the absorbing solution. The buoyant bodies 8 are made void. The circulating tank 7 is divided into two sections. The buoyant bodies 8 float on the surface of the absorbing solution in the section on the side of the absorption part 4 and oxidizing air is fed to the bottom of the same section. To the section on the opposite side, is connected the suction opening of a circulating pump 3. The absorbing solution is circulated to above the absorption part 4 through a line 10.</p> |
