Exposure value measuring method for photographic printer - using factors for exposure value obtained from several fuzzy sets

Each of the fuzzy sets represents the relationship between a set of image characteristic values and a grade. Each set is used to provide a factor for evaluating an exposure value. The film negative is scanned to provide image data used to calaculate an image characteristic value, with evalution of a grade for the latter for at least one fuzzy set. The light exposure value factors are determined using the image data for each fuzzy set. The final exposure value is determined from the corrected factors.
