PURPOSE:To stably obtain excellent printing quality by supplying the optimum quantity of developer to a developer carrier by a developer supply body and forming a developer thin film layer having uniform thickness on the surface of the developer carrier. CONSTITUTION:The developer supply body 37, that means, a reset roller 37 is provided near the bottom part of a developing device 30 so as to be rotated by interlocking with a developing roller 32 and rotated in an identical direction to the developer carrier 32, that means, the developing roller 32. Therefore, both rollers 32 and 37 are moved in a reverse direction at the contact part 3 of the roller 32 and the roller 37. The roller 37 is formed of a soft foaming synthetic resin material on which electroconductivity is added under such constitution so that F becomes 72 or 114 when F=S.rho/H is attained by setting hardness among material values to be H(Kgf), density to be rho(Kg/m<3>) and the number of cells in a bubble to be S(cell/inch). Or the moving speed of the roller 37 at the contact part 3 is set to be 1.4 or 1.7 times as high as the moving speed of the roller 32. |
