Demonstration means in the form of a receptacle for illustrating balance sheet data, characterised in that it consists of a lower stage (G, D), manufactured at least partially from transparent material, or open, comprising vertical side walls and exhibiting a constant cross-sectional shape, which is divided by partitions (C) into two, four or eight chambers of substantially equal dimensions, as well as of an upper stage, arranged above the lower receptacle, the shape of the cross-section of which, starting from the cross-section of the lower receptacle, reduces with height until it becomes practically zero, and the said upper stage is, at least in part, transparent or open. <IMAGE>
