PURPOSE:To realize the image forming device able to prevent uneven print in a page with respect to the image forming device which adjusts the intensity of light of an optical data scanned by an optical unit for a period except the scanning time in the unit of pages. CONSTITUTION:An optical unit 50 scans an optical data to form an electrostatic image onto an image forming body 51, the formed electrostatic image is developed by toner, the toner image on the image forming body 51 is transferred to a recording medium and fixed thereon in this image forming device, which is provided with an adjustment means 8 adjusting the intensity of the light of the optical data scanned by the optical unit 50, a command means 70 commanding the adjustment of the intensity of the light of the optical data by the adjustment means 8 and a detection means 9 detecting whether or not the optical data in the unit of pages is scanned when a command comes from the command means 70. When the optical data in the unit of pages is not scanned, the adjustment means 8 adjusts the intensity of the light of the optical data. |
