DIRECT-INPUT OPERATING METHOD

PURPOSE: To present a direct input operating method suitable to a computer system user interface in which a relation between an icon(picture character) and a pointer is visually displayed at the time of a direct input operation processing. CONSTITUTION: At the time of a direct input operation, a pointer is fixed to a source object, and the source object to which the pointer is fixed is moved to a target. When the source object reaches the target, a work to be executed is automatically displayed by the appearance of the pointer. When a user changes the work to be executed, the user can allow this system to execute the substitute work by invalidating the system.
