PURPOSE:To reduce the extent of intake resistance as well as to keep off any unbalance in intake air for each cylinder, and besides, improve the radiability in an exhaust pipe, by utilizing a space around a rear cylinder so effectively and setting up the equipment of an intake system, in a multicylinder internal combustion engine for a motorcycle. CONSTITUTION:In this motorcycle multicylinder internal combustion engine 20, an air cleaner 26a for a front cylinder 21a is set up in the space in front of a rear cylinder 21, a carburetor 30a for the front cylinder 21a is set up in a down draft, setting up an air cleaner 26 for the rear cylinder 21 in a rear space, and a carburetor 30 for the rear cylinder 21 is set up in a side draft, thereby exhaust pipes 24, 24a of both these cylinders are extended in front of an engine, then both these exhaust pipes are installed in the rearward together with a lower part of the engine. |
